Job Description
Oversee Design Institute (DI) on pipeline design work Review the pipeline design philosophy, standards and codes including Chinese standards and ASME standards.
Review DI's pipeline calculation, including wall thickness, strength calculation of pipeline road crossing, and buoyancy control calculation of river crossing
Work with DI on pipeline stress analysis and solve problems if necessary
Review pipeline material specification and discuss the material selection with DI Review drawings + reports Help solve any problems during the pipeline construction
Requirements
Degree educated - Engineering Discipline
Minimum 15 years' experience within oil + gas sector, preferably on sour gas projects
English or Chinese language skills considered
Package
Circa ?100-?120K dependent on prior experience
